Chubby Charm

The Chubby Charms (チャビー・チャーム, Chabī chāmu^?) are the collectable items of the magical girl anime Magical Warrior: Chubby Utahime. The Chubby Charms originally come from the Candy Kingdom and are now spread all over the world of water. The Chubby Charms are used by the Chubby Utahime girls in order to transform and to use attacks. They transform by saying "Magical Power, Chubby Up!". There are 50 known Chubby Charms that the Cures need to collect.

Trivia

• The Chubby Charms appear similar and might be some kind of parody towards collectable items appearing in the Pretty Cure Franchise. In that Franchise, items with similar powers are the Heart Seeds from Heartcatch Pretty Cure!, the Cure Decors from Smile Pretty Cure!, the Loveads from Doki Doki! Pretty Cure, and the Linkle Stones from Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure! as the Pretty Cures need the Seeds /Decors /Beads /Stones to transform and attack, and still have other uses.
  • The parody is that the collectable items in the Pretty Cure Franchise provide helpful items or power ups, while the main ability of the Chubby Charm is to create some kind of candy or sweets.
  • In fact, there are more such items; the Dress Up Keys from Go! Princess Pretty Cure. However, the Dress Up Key only have to function to transform and attack and have no extra ability.
